Product Description

This 3000W IBC immersion heater is purpose-built for 1000-litre intermediate bulk containers, providing fast, reliable heating for water-based liquids, oils, greases, and industrial or food-processing media. The heater mounts directly onto the IBC filling hole using a 304 stainless steel cup (Ø 170mm) that rests over the thread while preserving atmospheric balance.

A long non-heating section ensures the heating coil sits at the container bottom, maximising thermal efficiency while preventing overheating of upper liquid layers.

The heating element has a surface load of 3 W/cm², enabling safe use in both low-viscosity and high-viscosity fluids. The entire unit, including the enclosure and heating element, is manufactured from 304 stainless steel, guaranteeing durability in demanding environments.

For hygiene-critical operations, the internal access model offers IP69K ingress protection, allowing high-pressure hot-water cleaning.

Temperature regulation is handled by a 30–90°C thermostat positioned at the centre of the heating coil, ensuring accurate and stable heating. A fail-safe SPNC manual reset high-limit thermostat mounted at the top of the coil automatically stops heating if the liquid level drops too low and exposes the element.

This immersion heater can be used on its own or combined with heating jackets to dramatically reduce overall heat-up time.
